I was born in the "biggest little state in the union" - Rhode Island- in the late 70's and have been making art here since. I did manage to breach the borders and attend the Massachusetts College of Art & Design; but, I of course returned, this time with my partner-in-crime in tow. In 2006, we opened our boutique multi-media/design house, Embee Studio (visit us here!), where we joined forces of art & tech and have been working together ever since.

Simultaneously, I have continued my own fine-art practice exploring different mediums, from ink to found-object and sculpture. I create art every single day in (and on) our crazy old pirate ship of a house in Fox Point with Mike (that'd be my husband), our Wonder twins, one seriously bossy cattle dog and a previously fat cat.
